FLT Driver / Picker

Novara People are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver / Picker to join a busy operation based in Tingley, Wakefield (WF3).

This is a combined FLT and warehouse role, so you must be happy working both on and off the truck. The role involves handling and picking large/heavy wood panels, so previous experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial.

Hours
2:30pm – 12am

The role will include:
– Operating a Counterbalance FLT
– Picking and preparing orders
– Moving and locating large wood panels
– Loading and unloading
– General warehouse duties
– Manual handling of heavy products
– Ensuring orders are picked accurately and safely
– Keeping the warehouse clean and organised

Skills Required

Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
Previous FLT and warehouse/picking experience
Experience working with wood panels would be highly desirable
Comfortable with heavy/manual work
Reliable with a good attitude to work
Looking for a long-term opportunity

Rate of Pay

£14.29 per hour
